I have been tempted to try ceramic coating for a few years now, but didn’t want to spend over $1000 on something I wasn’t familiar with.

So after recently buying a sweet slightly used Phantom blue Acura RDX A-Spec, I was tempted by the dealer to protect it with a ceramic application for $1,200.
But I was skeptical about the price and the fact they only needed my car for an hour and a half.

So I started researching the ceramic process and came across Avalon King. I decided to do it right and I ordered every product they offer, from prep to ceramic application.

The marketing is fun yet professional. The packaging impressive, and the price is a fraction of hiring a “pro”.
Granted I had to give up an entire weekend and some labor in the prep work.

But oh baby the RESULTS are spectacular!!

My ride is incredibly shiny and smooth as silk.

I order two kits of the Armor Shield IV I order to latter do my wife’s car.
Upon opening the small little shiny bottle of ceramic solution, I thought there was no way it would be enough to do a large SUV.

Unbelievably I was able to do the entire car and still have some left.
And I did the entire SUV, all panels, all the trim even all the windows and the wheels. I even did a second coat on the roof, hood, front bumper and windshield.

Love the application pad and clothes. Even the little card that tucks the cloth around the pad tightly. Everything is very high quality and I ordered the entire product line.

Can’t wait to see how well it repels dirt, dust and water.
I am even looking forward to doing my wife’s car soon (well maybe not the claying an prep)
But applying the Ceramic Armor Shield IV is a breeze.

I saved close to a $1,000 by not having a “Pro” do the work.
Now I have the extra cash, the pride of doing the job myself and the best looking car in the Neighborhood.

Highly recommend Avalon King

Loving all of the Avalon King products, but just a note that there is a temperature below which the Armor Shield Lite will freeze onto the paint surface. I tried to apply as temperatures fell to 35 F and below, and that became an instant frozen endeavor. Now, I make sure that the paint is above 40F for smooth sailing.

I applied the ceramic coating to my original paint 1986 500sl and wow. The car has the brand new luster and glow again. The instructions are clear and easy to understand for anyone, I even received an email prior to my package arriving stating if I needed help or had questions it was just a friendly email away.
I am a hobbyist detailer and have detailed many cars, I am very pleased with the results. Some company’s don’t deliver what is promised but avalonking absolutely delivers what it promises.
This was my steps, an initial wash, blow dry, clay bar, paint correction ( 3M perfect-it 3 step using 3M egg crate pads.) pre ceramic paint prep wash, blow dry and lastly ceramic coat and it looks amazing. It took a full weekend to do it correctly from start to finish but it was worth it.

It's my first application. My thoughts are it has a great shine super glossy great beading application doesn't get any easier to apply. only draw back for me was packaging. I had 2 bottles shipped one had leaked half out because it was in a bag rather than a box and apparently was man handled during shipping witch turned out to be my loss although my kitchen counter is now really smooth where I had opened it!
