I was excited to try this coating. I did the strip wash, chemical decontamination, clay and polish and the IPA wipedown before application.

After the first wash I was disappointed in the results. Some parts had good hydrophobic properties, others looked like they had not been coated at all.

All I can figure is that I wiped it off too soon. It was about 60 degrees with some humidity of maybe 60%.. I waited the prescribed time for the temperature but I don’t think it flashed properly and parts were wiped before it was ready. I applied it very carefully so that is the only thing I can think of that may have done it.

I guess for now I will have to use the Armor Lite spray until I can recoat. Not exactly sure how I’ll deal with it since I can’t just put on another coat, it’s been over two weeks since the first one.

I used the Armor shield IX two years ago, still holding strong. When I heard about the Armor Shield Lite, I gave it try and loved it. I wish you guys have a bigger bottle! Thanks for the AWESOME PRODUCT Avalon King!

I used this product about 2 years ago on my Jeep Wrangler and fell in love with the ease of application. I’m an automotive refinish specialist for a living and have used many coatings following paint correction and follow up paint protection on vehicles I have painted, and this is definitely the easiest to use, has a very high gloss finish, and holds up better than many coatings costing 3 times the price. Today I Used it on a 2022 Ford F250 Black/Gold two tone that I did a paint correction on and the results were stellar. And if you’re wondering, you’ll need 2 kits for a truck that size so you’ll have enough for 2 coats if you’re doing everything on the exterior, including paint, trim, lights, glass, mirrors, trim, grille, and wheels. I bought 2 bottle of avalon king in mid December 2020 received it 27 December, install it in end of July begin of August on my Acura csx and Acura RDX. At the beginning I was impressed so I did a 5 stars review, after 1 winter, no more protection on both cars. I forgot the 2 years warranty and I saw a pub on social media with the 2 years warranty in 10thFebruary 2023. I contacted them by email and they don't care about me. 1 month too late. I don't recommend this product to anyone
